Happy Mother’s Day!

My Numero Uno

My Been Down With Me Since Day 1

Thank you for bringing me into this world and listening to all my “I think he’s the right one” stories.  Thank you for giving me a sense of style with fashion and teaching me its OK to treat myself. You told me back in elementary school that everyone deserves a day off so I never play sick.  Cleanliness and orderliness are the signs of a well maintained home. Thank you for being MOM and spelling my name with an IE.

I’m giving you until the end of July to do a 5k with me!

Your bio was very informative as well as inspiring! Sending both, you and your twin (your mom) a happy Mother’s Day!!

  2. You are SO lucky to have a mom you can do 5Ks with. Sadly, my mom has Lupus, Fibromyalgia, bad arthritis (she was in hand braces at the age of 30), osteoporosis so bad that she has the bone density of a 90 year old woman, and her ankle is fused permanently after a horrible break about 10 years ago. Whenever I call her to tell her about my races, she always says, “I wish I could run with you.” I wish she could too. But she supports me and she doesn’t let anything slow her down.

Happy Mother’s Day to you and your mom!

After giving birth to three baby boys, I was through having babies. God had other plans. I was told by my wise Mom that God gives you what you need. He knew my need and gave me a beautiful baby girl that I named Kelsie. I had chosen her name years before she was born. Kelsie your inner beauty enhances your outer beauty. I admire your tenacity and dedication to complete whatever tasks are thrown your way. Glad you got my back. Keep touching lives and your rewards will be even greater. Love you my child.
