In addition to sole searching and officially welcoming my new foster placement, the weekend was jumping in the Louisville area.
The long-awaited grand opening of our new Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass took place. Vintage cars were driven with care as owners made their way to the Street Rod Nationals.
My attention was directed towards the 2014 PGA Championship preview at the Valhalla Golf Club.
I don’t know much about golf, but I’ve had some exposure. My brother Brad and I used to pick up golf ball baskets at a driving range near our home. The owner would offer us a free game of Putt Putt or $1 each. Most of the time we played the game.
Workers were putting up the final touches as we made our way inside the football field sized merchandise tent.
My Uncle Danny plays golf so I picked up a Nike Souvenir hat for him to sport in WV.
I hope Tiger Woods is able to recover and play after injuring his back at the Bridgestone Invitational.
Golf is something I look forward to trying one day. It seems relaxing and I enjoy beautiful scenery. I’ve already Googled pink golf balls so that’s a start!

Wow, that looks amazing! I grew up in Ohio and we would always go to the Memorial. It was sweet to see all the legends like Jack Nicklaus. I got to see TW here at the Byron Nelson a couple years ago. Crazy!
